We are now putting together short articles to tell the “Stories behind the Songs” for each track on the album, “Lavish”.
Just like on the album, “Acoustic Café”, you’ll be able to scan the QR codes to connect to the story behind each song.
To give you a flavour of what these short stories are like, here’s a video from Acoustic Cafe – “Dreams of a Homecoming”.

Parking details are below – Sevenoaks School is a big campus and the entrance we will use is the one that is the furthest from Sevenoaks town centre. There are roadworks currently on this entrance making it less clear than usual!
Once on the campus, park in the Duke’s Meadows Car Park or follow the roads around to the left to park nearer to the venue. On the map below, the venue complex is called, “The Space”
See you there!

It’ll be great to see you!
Since January I have been in the studio with Lester Barnes recording eleven new songs for “Lavish”…
I am excited about this recording! Rich orchestration including choirs, strings and some great soul-sounding horns, this is an ambitious album that I hope will echo with the message of the One whose love is most extreme…
It’s great to be working on a new CD with Lester Barnes! The plan is that it will be released in June 2013 – we will keep you posted…
Eleven newly written songs that echo with the theme of a transcendent love that reaches out…
Here’s a shot of Lester’s studio in W1. With some of his Emmy-nominated portfolio bedecking the walls, it’s an inspiring place to work.
What a great event! Organised in the Low Tatra mountains, thousands of people from Slovakia and the surrounding countries get together for a few days of great music, networking and excellent teaching.
The journey was an adventure with two planes being cancelled and then a long drive across from Austria. Travelling with rappers “Faith Child”, we had a lot of fun on our unexpectedly convoluted journey including putting on an impromptu acoustic gig in the foyer of a prestigious hotel where the struggling airline had put us for the night…
In a usually deserted valley in the Low Tatras, a massive marquee and surrounding tent village had been established and we arrived to the warmest Slovak welcome just in time for the soundcheck.
The whole of CampFest is brilliantly and professionally organised by a dynamic and highly creative team. It was great to catch up with the genius Stan Majerski who lives right in the heart of CampFest with his family and to chat more about the new CD that we are working on together…
I look forward to being back in this part of the world – just over the border in Poland – in November for a series of university events…
