For more of the story behind the song, head over here!
So pleased to have finished this song – I wrote it four weeks ago today. Since then, we’ve recorded it and made a video on the roof of a Croydon car park!
Here it is – happy Christmas!
On 7th November 2020 at 20h CET, join us for live music and thought-provoking conversation at the world premier of the “Feuer café”.
We’ll be streaming the event right here and featuring: live music from Andy Mayo and his band, guests playing from around Europe and captivating themes introduced by international speaker, Michael Ots.

Nick Beston is an outstanding jazz saxophonist. It is brilliant to have him playing from the Railway Carriage Studio tonight: Saturday 6th June 8:15pm.
Welcome to this next Railway Carriage Studio Live event!

On Saturday 9th May at 8:15pm, UK time, join a “collaboration” in the Railway Carriage Studio!
I’m excited to welcome brilliant saxophonist Nick Beston (London) and Ukrainian violinist, Marina Gnatyshyna (Kiev) for this collaboration. Dewi Jones (Welsh National Theatre) will be engineering…
Tonight, Michael Ots will speak during the interval – a lot of us would travel to the next country to hear him but he’ll be right here “in” the Railway Carriage too.
The whole event runs from 8:15pm to 9:15pm…
Hope you can join us all!
Thank you for being a part of tonight – it was good to share this with you!
It would be great to keep the conversation going!
UK: Pop any feedback you want to in the form at the bottom of the page. If you include your mailing address, we’ll post a couple of books to you – Mark’s eyewitness account of Jesus’ life (Mark’s Gospel) – and the newly published “Where is God in a Coronavirus World?” by John Lennox.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: click here to email Lilja who will get in touch to chat more.
Serbia: Click here to contact Samuilo or Marijana, or head to their FaceBook page here. They have a Serbian translation of John Lennox’ new book and would post this to you with a Serbian Mark’s Gospel.
Listen to Michael Ots speaking about spiritual themes arising from the current crisis by clicking here. (I’m also singing at this event.)

Keeping in touch…
You’re Invited! On this Saturday 25th April, 8pm UK time, I’m planning to share some stories and songs for an hour – live on Facebook and through YouTube Live.
You’re welcome to join me! I’ll be in the little “Railway Carriage Studio” that I’ve been using for other streamed events.
I’d love it if you can come! It might be a good event to invite friends to as well… it’ll feel like one of those evenings that we’ve sat outside in a cafe together – or on some beautiful Balkan mountainside – and swapped songs!
See you at 8pm Saturday if you can!
Loved playing in Bournemouth last weekend.
It was especially good to play with Stan Majerski on keys. We met in the Balkans and he produced and played on two albums that were developed out there: “Dreams of a Homecoming” and “This is for you”. We’ve also toured a lot together along with our larger five-price band. In my opinion, the man is a genius – if you’ve heard his melodic solos and creative harmonies, I expect you agree!
Sharing an evening of “Stories and Songs”, we wanted to weave together music, conversation and visual art that point to the reality of the “God who is there”. The One who has come towards us in the person of Jesus to draw us into connection – relationship – with Him through His death and resurrection…
With one or two events most weeks until the end of March, I’ll keep you posted!
Here are some images taken on the evening by the gifted Bournemouth photographer, Loïc Salan…

Another highlight was playing in Edinburgh for the university events week. Here, my main role was to illustrate talks by Michael Green using the songs…
It’s been a busy few months playing in Edinburgh, London, Swansea, Sienna, Florence, Copenhagen…
As well as solo events, it has been great to work with friends like Michael Ots, Lindsay Brown, Michael Green who use these live songs as “illustrations” or “moments of reflection” during their talks to universities or other groups.
I’ll post a few shots over the next few days of some of these events!
Here are some images from the Lavish Launch on Friday night… some travelled nearly 200 miles to be there. Thank you!
