“A Saturday Night Collaboration” – live from the Railway Carriage Studio – with international guests and Michael Ots

On Saturday 9th May at 8:15pm, UK time, join a “collaboration” in the Railway Carriage Studio!

I’m excited to welcome brilliant saxophonist Nick Beston (London) and Ukrainian violinist, Marina Gnatyshyna (Kiev) for this collaboration. Dewi Jones (Welsh National Theatre) will be engineering…

Tonight, Michael Ots will speak during the interval – a lot of us would travel to the next country to hear him but he’ll be right here “in” the Railway Carriage too.

The whole event runs from 8:15pm to 9:15pm…

Hope you can join us all!

Live from the “Railway Carriage Studio”

You’re Invited! On this Saturday 25th April, 8pm UK time, I’m planning to share some stories and songs for an hour – live on Facebook and through YouTube Live.

You’re welcome to join me! I’ll be in the little “Railway Carriage Studio” that I’ve been using for other streamed events.

I’d love it if you can come! It might be a good event to invite friends to as well… it’ll feel like one of those evenings that we’ve sat outside in a cafe together – or on some beautiful Balkan mountainside – and swapped songs!

See you at 8pm Saturday if you can!

Stories and Songs in Bournemouth…

Loved playing in Bournemouth last weekend.

It was especially good to play with Stan Majerski on keys. We met in the Balkans and he produced and played on two albums that were developed out there: “Dreams of a Homecoming” and “This is for you”. We’ve also toured a lot together along with our larger five-price band.  In my opinion, the man is a genius – if you’ve heard his melodic solos and creative harmonies, I expect you agree!

Tapestry

Sharing an evening of “Stories and Songs”, we wanted to weave together music, conversation and visual art that point to the reality of the “God who is there”. The One who has come towards us in the person of Jesus to draw us into connection – relationship – with Him through His death and resurrection…

With one or two events most weeks until the end of March, I’ll keep you posted!

Here are some images taken on the evening by the gifted Bournemouth photographer, Loïc Salan…

Great Cafe culture in Copenhagen... ideal for these events!

It’s been a busy few months playing in Edinburgh, London, Swansea, Sienna, Florence, Copenhagen…

As well as solo events, it has been great to work with friends like Michael Ots, Lindsay Brown, Michael Green who use these live songs as “illustrations” or “moments of reflection” during their talks to universities or other groups.

I’ll post a few shots over the next few days of some of these events!

Parking and directions for the Pamoja Hall – “Lavish Launch” 21st November 2014

Here’s a map to reach the venue for the album launch tonight – parking map below!

[wpgmza id=”1″]

Parking details are below – Sevenoaks School is a big campus and the entrance we will use is the one that is the furthest from Sevenoaks town centre. There are roadworks currently on this entrance making it less clear than usual!

Once on the campus, park in the Duke’s Meadows Car Park or follow the roads around to the left to park nearer to the venue. On the map below, the venue complex is called, “The Space”

If you have friends you want to bring, there will be tickets available on the door.

See you there!

Prague, Krakow…

It’s been a great week in the universities in Prague and Krakow. Working with Michael Ots and others from the FEUER network, we’ve been in some beautiful clubs in these two amazing cities – speaking and singing about the biggest themes…
